Ceremonial Cacao Recipe
Updated: Apr 11, 2022
The two most important components to a successful cacao ceremony are the quality of the cacao and the intention that you come to the ceremony with. You don’t want to skimp on either of these components.

INGREDIENTS (12oz / 350ml Cup)
2 tablespoon Cacao Powder
1 cube (or 1 tablespoon of melted cacao butter) Cacao Butter
5oz. Water
5 oz. Plant-based milk
1 teaspoon Maca Powder
1 teaspoon Mama Lion
1 teaspoon Changa Powder
3 teaspoons Alluios Sweetener
1/2 teaspoons Turmeric
INSTRUCTIONS
Heat your water to 170 degrees. Like green tea, using boiling water with our cacao could heat out all the powerful nutrients. I like using electric kettles with temperature control or you can boil the water and let it cool down for a few minutes. Select your dosage with intention. Cacao can be stimulating, so this dosage chart will help you decide how much cacao to work with. I also recommend taking notes on how your body responds to different amounts, as everybody is different. Make it creamy! Place all the ingredients in a blender, pour in 4-5 oz of heated water per serving, and gently blend to create a nice frothy drink. You can also control the hot water temperature with milk, pour milk in the blender little by little.

Bonus tip!
The cacao tastes better when you pause and
set an intention for your day before taking your first sip.
